Jim Curtin said his team’s performance “wasn’t us” after Montreal Impact knocked off the Union 4-1 on Saturday night at Talen Energy Stadium.
Effort was good even if result was not
Philly went ahead early but the Impact were able to climb back into the match by countering off corner kicks. “I think the effort is always there,” Curtin said. “After we had a couple mistakes on their first goal, a couple things we could have done better. Then we had a letdown. Over the course of the night, after they scored the first goal, we really didn't look like ourselves.
