Alberg sores again

For the second time in three games, Roland Alberg found the back of the net. In the 18th minute of the match, Keegan Rosenberry sent a cross into the box, and Atlanta United FC attempted to clear the pass. The failed clear sent the ball to Giliano Wijnaldum, who chipped the ball over the back line, right to Alberg's feet. With Brad Guzan charging, Alberg poked the ball into the back of the net to give the Union a 1-0 lead. Alberg's goal was his sixth of the season, the second-most on the team this season.
