CHESTER, Pa. (Sept. 1, 2020)The Philadelphia Union today announced their yearly Kick Childhood Cancer initiatives, including a KCC awareness themed match when they play at home on September 12. In support of MLS Works, Major League Soccer’s community outreach initiative, the club kicks off their seventh annual Kick Childhood Cancer campaign, pairing childhood cancer patients and Union athletes as part of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
Each Union athlete will be paired with a child from Kisses for Kyle, a foundation that offers a variety of services to families fighting childhood cancer in the Delaware Valley, for a number of activations as they aim to raise awareness about pediatric cancer.
