The Philadelphia Union donated more than 400 toys for children in the local Chester community and surpassed its goal for the 2015 Toy Drive, the club announced Friday.
“The annual Toy Drive has continued to grow the past couple of years and we are thrilled to have surpassed our goal for this year,” said Philadelphia Union Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer Dave Rowan. “Our dedicated partners, fans and front office staff made it possible for less fortunate children to receive a little joy during the holiday season. We thank them all for their efforts in achieving this goal.
