The Philadelphia Union Unified team will have a chance to take the pitch at Gillette Stadium against their counterparts from the New England Revolution on August 11 as part of Major League Soccer’s community outreach initiative with Special Olympics and ESPN.
A total of 23 Unified matches are scheduled in conjunction with MLS games from May 5 through October 21.
The Union hosted a Unified match following a game against FC Dallas last August.
MLS and ESPN will also be hosting the 5th annual Special Olympics Unified Sports All-Star Soccer Showcase as part of the 2018 MLS All-Star Game in Atlanta.
