Philadelphia Union Re-Sign Defender Raymon Gaddis
Philadelphia’s longest-tenured player set to return ahead of eighth season with Union
CHESTER, Pa. (January 9, 2019) – Philadelphia Union announced today that the club has reached an agreement on a new contract with Raymon Gaddis that sees the 28-year-old defender return ahead of his eighth season with the team.
The club’s longest-tenured player, Gaddis originally joined Philadelphia after being selected 35th overall in the 2012 MLS SuperDraft. He is the Union’s all-time leader in minutes played (14,468).
“We are looking forward to welcoming Ray back to the Union,” said Union Sporting Director Ernst Tanner.
