Philadelphia Union get up to $375k in allocation money from FC Dallas for Fafa Picault

Fan favorite Fafa Picault was dealt to FC Dallas on Tuesday in exchange for up to $375,000 in general allocation money.

The soon to be out-of-contract forward was a bit of a misfit after the switch from playing primarily as a winger in a 4-2-3-1 formation to one of two forwards in the preferred 4-4-2 last season. He made $173,666.63 last season in guaranteed compensation.

The Union will get $300,000 in general allocation money in 2020 and up to $75,000 in additional general allocation money in 2021 if the 28-year-old meets certain undisclosed performance metrics.
