Tommy Smyth has spent his entire life around the game of soccer. Yesterday he said farewell to the Worldwide Leader of Sports at ESPN and will enter a new chapter of his career.
Smyth has called more than 3,000 international matches from leagues all over the world and now he’ll take his place alongside Philadelphia Union play-by-play man JP Dellacamera in the Union broadcast booth as the color analyst for the 2017 season for the Union
