The Philadelphia Union got their second win and second clean sheet of the 2016 preseason, defeating the Tampa Bay Rowdies 2-0.
Even though the projected starters for the Philadelphia Union got the night off, the club was still able to dispatch with the Tampa Bay Rowdies , winning 2-0 in front of the home crowd at Al Lang Stadium. The Union came out with a bit of a different look, with Jim Curtin opting to go with a 4-5-1 against the Rowdies and their 4-3-3.
In the first minute of the match, Tampa defender Ben Sweat was booked for a hard foul from behind on Leo Fernandes.
