CHESTER, Pa. (Aug. 8, 2020) – As announced by Major League Soccer today, the Philadelphia Union will resume regular-season play following the team’s successful run in the MLS is Back Tournament. The Union earned seven points toward the regular season standings with a 2-0-1 record in the group stage of the tournament, tied for the second-most points gained by any club during the unique event. Currently tied for third place in the Eastern Conference, the Union will play their first match of the 2020 season in Subaru Park on August 25 against rival New York Red Bulls.
