German-born Polish striker Kacper Przybylko was added to the Philadelphia Union roster ahead of the roster freeze deadline on Friday, the club announced on Sunday morning.
The 25-year-old target forward’s contract is for the remainder of the 2018 MLS season with a team option for 2019. He’s been on trial with the club for the past couple weeks after an unsuccessful trial with Sunderland AFC in England.
“After having the opportunity to get an extended look at Kacper in training over the last few weeks, we are pleased to add him to our squad in advance of the MLS Roster Freeze,” Union Technical Director Chris Albright said in a statement.
