After renewing their rivalry with Temple last fall, Pitt will be traveling to Philadelphia again this spring to take on another in-state program for the first time in a friendly on March 25.
Penn will host the Saturday afternoon match at Rhodes Field in West Philly at 2 p.m. It’s one of six spring matches Panthers head coach Jay Vidovich announced on Wednesday. Penn has not announced its spring exhibition schedule.
Vidovich, a long time Wake Forest coach who took over the program last season after coaching Portland Timbers 2 in USL, has added six mid-year additions to the squad, including former Philadelphia Union Academy forward Colin Brezniak (Hanover, Pa.
