Former Philadelphia Union winger Danny Cruz has signed with the NASL expansion side San Francisco Deltas. Cruz came to the Union in 2012 when he was traded from D.C. United for Lionard Pajoy, and remained with the team through the 2015 season. Cruz played for a total of 70 games scoring seven goals in his two full years with the team (he was loaned to FK Bodø/Glimt in Norway in his final year with the team).
Cruz signed with the new NASL expansion after not being picked up by Minnesota United FC after his former team made the jump to MLS this year.
