"One of the best seasons of my career" says Medunjanin

Perhaps the secret to understanding what Haris Medunjanin -- who Jim Curtin calls a "best XI player" -- brings to the pitch comes from a player that has received far more media attention this season.

"He does all the stuff fans and other people don’t necessarily see,” 18-year-old midfielder Brenden Aaronson said. “Whenever we get in rhythms, he controls it and it’s all from him with his passing, the weight of the pass to you, the amount of ground he covers.”

Now Aaronson and other young players both see what the quiet work looks like and how it's about more than technique and fitness.
