For their efforts in the Union's 4-0 rout of DC United, Haris Medunjanin and Oguchi Onyewu were named to the MLS Team of the Week.
Medunjanin put in one of his best performances of the season, where he registered a goal and two assists in the match. Medunjanin's goal came in the 39th minute, where he ripped a shot past the diving DC keeper Bill Hamid to give the Union a 1-0 lead. His goal, from 25 yards out, was his first career MLS goal. His two assists moved him into first on the team in the statistic, and he's tied for thrid-most in MLS.
