Medunjanin earns 60th career cap for Bosnia-Herzegovina

Philadelphia Union midfielder Haris Medunjanin hit a personal milestone last week, earning his 60th career cap for Bosnia-Herzegovina in their 1-0 win over Bulgaria in a friendly on March 23.

In the match, the veteran came on at the half, logging 45 minutes and held court in the Bosnia-Herzegovina midfield, helping his club keep Bulgaria off the scoresheet and left the contest with the win and the shutout.

Medunjanin has now played 45 minutes or more in 10 consecutive appearances for Bosnia-Herzegovina. This stretch of consistent play dates back to June 3, 2016.

The midfielder has proven to be a leader for the Bosnia-Herzegovina squad, wearing the Captain’s Armband four times, including two of their last three matches.
