Philadelphia Union today announced that two players have received international call-ups from their respective federations to participate in upcoming international matches: Andre Blake (Jamaica) and Haris Medunjanin (Bosnia and Herzegovina). The pair joins Alejandro Bedoya (USA) as Union players to receive international call-ups during the upcoming FIFA window.
Blake joins the Reggae Boyz in advance of a friendly against Peru, set to take place in Lima on June 13. The Union goalkeeper regularly features as the first choice in net for Jamaica, as Blake has earned 23 caps for the side. He was Jamaica’s starting goalkeeper for both the 2014 Caribbean Cup as well as the 2016 Copa America Centenario.
