Philadelphia Union fell to New York City FC on Saturday afternoon at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. The loss drops Philadelphia to 4-6-4, with a 1-4-2 road record this season. The Union will be out of MLS action for the next two weeks due to the FIFA International Break.
The Union saw a big performance from the 2016 MLS Goalkeeper of the Year Andre Blake. Philadelphia's keeper came up with big time saves against New York throughout the first half to keep the match scoreless through the first half. Blake has now recorded seven saves or more in back-to-back weeks.
