Match Recap: New York Red Bulls II 3 - Harrisburg City Islanders 1

After two consecutive matches where Harrisburg struggled to generate much offense, they came out swinging during their second visit to the New York Red Bulls II. The City Islanders defense however gave up an uncharacteristic three goals, and that proved to be too big of a deficit to overcome.

The worries about Aaron Wheeler’s health after he was subbed out early at Pittsburgh turned out to be unfounded. Wheeler had recovered enough to start at forward, flanked by Johnny Mendoza and Cardel Benbow. There was also a shake up in the midfield, with Jamaican Paul Wilson returning to the starting eleven alongside Mohammad Dabo, making his second start of the season, and Rasheed Olabiyi.
