Marcus Epps makes 2018 debut

In the 2017 MLS SuperDraft, Philadelphia Union selected midfielder Marcus Epps with the 25th overall pick. The elusive midfielder from South Florida made an impact for the Union in his first season with the club. Last year, Epps appeared in 19 matches for Philadelphia, recording two goals and an assist. This past Friday in Toronto, Epps made his 2018 debut for the club.

As the Union squared off with Toronto FC at BMO Field in Canada, Philadelphia Head Coach Jim Curtin turned to his bench in the second half of play. Curtin called upon Epps in the closing moments of the match, as the midfielder entered as a substitution for Borek Dockal in the 77th minute of play.
