Lancaster native records clean sheet in first MLS start

Lancaster native Travis Worra, who grew up in the pre-Union days of his youth a DC United fan, made his first start with his favorite team on Saturday.

The Hempfield High School grad who led the Black Knights to a state title in 2010 made his debut last season with a 32-minute cameo off the bench. An injury to Andrew Dykstra cleared the way for Worra to not only record his first start but also register his first clean sheet in a scoreless road draw with the New York Red Bulls.

Worra made three saves in the game.
