Keegan Rosenberry takes home the first of what will hopefully be multiple awards this year. The MLS Fair Play Award has been given to last year’s third overall pick in the SuperDraft.
For those that don’t know, the Fair Play award is given based on sportsmanship, behavior, fouls and cards as well as minutes played. Seattle’s Chad Marshall and New England’s Chris Tierney were Rosenberry’s fellow finalists.
Let’s break down why Keegan was the clear cut choice for this award. If you’ve ever met or interacted with Keegan, you get that he’s probably one of the most genuine and outgoing people currently in at least the Union’s locker room if not the league.
