Keegan Rosenberry traded to Colorado Rapids

The Philadelphia Union announced on Wednesday that their starting right back from 2018 has been sent to the Colorado Rapids in exchange for $400,000 in allocation money.

The Union will receive $150,000 in general allocation money in 2019 and $50,000 in targeted allocation money with an additional $100,000 in general allocation money coming their way in 2020.

They’ll receive an additional $100,000 in general allocation money in 2020 if Rosenberry meets a set of undisclosed performance metrics in 2019.

The former Penn Fusion Academy and Lancaster Mennonite High School player who spent time with the Philadelphia Union’s youth setup and appeared in MLS Reserve League games joined the Philadelphia Union after being selected third overall in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft out of Georgetown University.
