Major League Soccer today announced the finalists for the 2016 End of Year Awards, honoring the league’s top performers during the 2016 MLS regular season. Philadelphia Union have three members of their club up for awards.
MLS All-Star and No. 3 overall pick in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft Keegan Rosenberry is a finalist for the 2016 AT&T Rookie of the Year. For this award, “rookie” is defined as a player without previous professional experience who made his MLS debut in 2016. Rosenberry became the first rookie in MLS history to play in all 3,060 regular season minutes. Rosenberry also led all outfield players in minutes played.
