Making only his second appearance of the season for Bethlehem Steel FC on Saturday, the third-year center back collided with Louisville City FC forward Cameron Lancaster in the 17th minute and was subbed out a couple minutes later. Lancaster suffered a dislocated shoulder and Yaro left with a head injury.
“He’s back in concussion protocol,” head coach Jim Curtin said during his weekly press conference on Wednesday. “Poor kid can’t catch a break. Injuries have been a real challenge. He has so much ability and talent but the durability part has been tough for him.”
Yaro had been on concussion protocol for several weeks prior and has not made any appearances for the first team this season.
