Jamaica triumphs over Guyana 4-2

Andre Blake and Jamaica will continue their quest to repeat as Caribbean Cup Champions, although it took a comeback and extra time against Warren Creavalle and Guyana to do it. The Golden Jaguars got out to an early lead thanks to a brace from Adrian Butters, however a goal from the New England Revolution’s Je-Vaughn Watson drew the Reggae Boyz within one. For the second straight game, Guyanese goalkeeper Kai McKenzie-Lyle (who plays professionally for Barnet FC in England’s League Two) was the hero as he saved a penalty shot. McKenzie-Lyle scored a late goal against Suriname to draw the match level.
