Yellow card accumulation and an ongoing injury will keep two of the Philadelphia Union’s best players this season out of the lineup against Montreal Impact tonight.
Left back Kai Wagner is serving a one-game suspension after picking up his fifth yellow card last weekend against the Chicago Fire. Midfielder Jamiro Monteiro is listed as out on the injury report from yesterday. Head coach Jim Curtin said on Wednesday that his star midfielder could miss up to two more weeks from the ankle sprain sustained from a red card challenge by Sacha Kljestan on July 3.
