Homegrown product Mark McKenzie earns first MLS start

Philadelphia Union Homegrown defender Mark McKenzie made his MLS start on Saturday night in the team's second road match of the season at FC Dallas. Although the club fell 2-0 to the hosting team, the youngest member of the squad's lineup made history.

McKenzie registered 90 minutes in the match and became the 100th player to make a start for Philadelphia. Out of his 59 total passes, the young gun earned a 96.6 percent passing accuracy with four accurate long balls.

While playing alongside Homegrown Auston Trusty, McKenzie recorded one clearance, one tackle and two blocked shots on the night.
