In the last Gold Cup in 2017 that was all the way to the final for the second straight time, where Jamaica lost to the U.S. 2-1 on an 88th minute Jordan Morris goal. Blake had to leave the final in the 19th minute with a hand injury and ended up missing nearly a month of action for the Union (four games) recovering from the injury.
