Philadelphia Union Director of Performance Garrison Draper wears many hats for the club. As the squad continues their young 2018 season, remaining fit and earning results late in a 90 minute contest has been a major emphasis for the team.
The mindset of being a high-pressing club applies to everyone, not just the players. Draper explains the vision of the organization has a massive impact on how he approaches his day-to-day duties.
“I think it really goes to the way Jim (Curtin), Chris (Albright), and Earnie (Stewart) have developed our vision for the club,” Draper said. “We want to be a club that presses and is fit, so my role as the performance director is to ensure that happens on the physical side.
