When the Union host Toronto FC at 4:30 ET this Saturday, they will see some familiar faces on the opposite side of field.
With Chris Pontius Alejandro Bedoya and former USMNT member Oguchi Onyewu playing for Philadelphia, and Michael Bradley and Jozy Altidore playing for Toronto, both teams feature multiple members of the US Men’s National Team.
The trio of Bedoya, Altidore and Bradley have been staples for the Stars and Stripes since 2013 and have a total of 285 caps, while Oneywu adds 69 caps spanning 10 years, starting in 2004.
Pontius, Bedoya and defender Keegan Rosenberry got called up to the USMNT training camp in January, with Pontius and Bedoya making the final 21.
