Mark McKenzie, Mr. 100
On Saturday night, Philadelphia Union Homegrown Mark McKenzie made his first career MLS start. The Union Academy product is now the fifth Homegrown to complete the club’s “Path to the Pros” by starting in the Academy, while logging minutes for USL affiliate Bethlehem Steel and starting for the First Team. With the start, McKenzie became the 100th different player to ever start a regular-season match for the Union.
