If you went to bed early last night and woke up to see that the Philadelphia Union won 1-0, you have no idea what you missed.
The quick and synopsis: the Union were dreadful in the first half, extremely lucky to go into the break scoreless and after a much improved start to the second half had a Cory Burke goal taken away by video review in the 65th minute for offsides and went down to 10 men when Jack Elliott was shown a second yellow as time was running down.
It had all the makings of a familiarly frustrating draw, but halfway through the six minutes of added time the improbably happened.
