A loan deal that would send midfielder Eric Ayuk to Sweden is close to being finalized, according to a report by Kristian Dyer in Metro.
Dyer cites an anonymous source in the article.
Swedish first division club Jönköpings Södra IF has been linked to the 20-year-old from Cameroon in recent weeks, following his standout performance with his national youth team in the U20 African Cup of Nations.
J-Södra’s first match of the 2017 season is April 8. The league schedule, which runs through November, kicks off on Saturday.
If the deal with J-Södra doesn’t work out, Dyer’s source says teams in Switzerland and England are also eyeing him.
