Philadelphia Union (and sometimes Bethlehem Steel FC) winger Eric Ayuk and the Cameroon U20s needed a win against Sudan to keep their hopes of making the knockout stage of the tournament. Ayuk led Les Lionceaux to a 4-1 win over Sudan, keeping Cameroon still in the hunt for the Under 20 Africa Cup of Nations.
Ayuk scored a goal in the 51st minute, and was awarded Man of the Match honors.
The last match of the group stage for Group B will be on Sunday. Cameroon will face off against the current number one seed Senegal while Sudan will face South Africa.
