Slowly but surely, Jack Elliott is becoming a household name for Union fans.
Elliott, the fourth-round pick in the 2017 MLS SuperDraft, who appear in a match until April 1 and didn't start until April 14, is putting together arguably the strongest case for MLS Rookie of the Year. And one doesn't need to look past his match against San Jose Earthquakes to see why.
In the 35th minute, Elliott stood near the top of the box as Haris Medunjanin sent in a cross. The ball fell into a mob of players before finding its way to Elliott, who took a shot with his left.
