The ex-Philadelphia Union winger will now ply his trade in a place slightly less cold than Norway.
Minnesota United FC announced today that they had signed former Philadelphia Union winger Danny Cruz. Cruz had been without a club since the Union released him after a stint on loan with FK Bodø/Glimt in Norway's Tippeligaen (First Division).
Cruz spent his first five years in MLS, starting with the Houston Dynamo in 2009 and moving to D.C. United in January of 2012. Halfway through the 2012 campaign, Cruz was traded to the Union for Lionard Pajoy and an international roster spot.
