Cory Burke Reflects on CONCACAF Gold Cup Journey with Jamaica

Over the past two months, Bethlehem Steel FC forward Cory Burke has had to learn to live out a suitcase. Since June 1, the forward has traveled to Jamaica, Peru, Martinique and various cities throughout the United States combining for nearly 20,000 miles traveled while playing for his club and country.

During those two months split between Steel FC and the Reggae Boyz, the 25-year-old played in 11 matches, starting seven and helped Jamaica reach the finals in both the Caribbean Cup and the CONCACAF Gold Cup.

“I enjoy getting to play and represent my country,” Burke said.
