After his stint with the Jamaican National Team, Philadelphia Union striker Cory Burke will officially join Jamaican club Portmore United for the remainder of the 2019 MLS season, the Union announced on Wednesday.
Burke has been unavailable since April 20 when he started and scored a goal in the Union’s 3-0 win at home over Montreal Impact because of visa issues.
He’s rejoined Union teammate Andre Blake in camp with the Reggae Boyz this week to prepare for Concacaf Nations League matches against Antigua and Barbuda on September 6 and Guyana on September 9.
