Chris Pontius had arguably his best performance of the season against Chicago Fire, where he scored his first two goals of the season for his third multi-goal game of his Union career.
His first goal, a highlight-reel diving header in the 10th minute, was voted by fans as the TruMark Financial Goal of the Month for September.
Pontius's goal gave the Union early in the game, and was a great individual and team display. Keegan Rosenberry had the ball just outside the box and sent in a cross, where Pontius got low to the ground and dove to get his head on the ball.
