Sunday afternoon before Philadelphia Union clashes with rival New York Red Bulls, there will be a special rivalry contest at 3:30 p.m. at Red Bull Arena as the Union's Special Olympics Team takes to the pitch.
Union supporters are encouraged to attend the contest beginning at 2:15 p.m. with fans entering through gate B! for the Unified Special Olympics match. The match will run from 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. and fans will be allowed to leave the stadium and re-enter prior to kick off of the first team match at 6:30 p.m.
The Philadelphia Union and Special Olympics Pennsylvania have formed a strong partnership that has built its program around training, friendly competition, and providing social experiences for their athletes, partners, and their families.
