Defender Charlie Reymann has officially gone from trialist to Steel player with a signing announcement Thursday.
The Worthington, Ohio native spent the last four seasons at the University of Kentucky, where he made 77 starts in 80 career games. He’s been with the club since training camp opened the beginning of February and has started both preseason games so far.
“I’m really excited that Bethlehem Steel FC have given me this opportunity to realize my dream of becoming a professional soccer player and I can’t wait to hit the field and reassure the club they’ve given the right guy this opportunity,” Reymann said in a news release.
