They had to wait through a postponed fall season, but Camden County College are back in the semifinals of the NJCAA Division III semifinals after a 3-0 win over Rock Valley on Wednesday in Herkimer, New York.
They’ll face the winner of hosts Herkimer College and Monroe College - Bronx tomorrow night at 6:30 p.m. with a chance to go to the final for the first time since 2016. This is their third trip to the semifinals in the last four seasons. They lost to Herkimer in 2019 and Genesee in 2017 in the national semifinals.
Pablo Marques opened the scoring against Rock Valley 12 minutes in when Amit Flechtman won a header near midfield and it ended up at the feet of Marques, who turned and beat three defenders before putting it past the keeper.
