Philadelphia Union finished the regular season with a record of 11-14-9 (42) good for sixth in the Eastern Conference.
The Union will face Toronto FC Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the knockout round of the 2016 MLS Playoffs. The match will be televised on ESPN2 with Adrian Healey & Taylor Twellman on the call.
This is the second time in club history Philadelphia has clinched a playoff berth. Previously done in 2011.
A win on Wednesday would mark the first time Philadelphia has won a playoff game in club history.
