Brotherly Game Daily Links: Galaxy reportedly hire new manager

MLS News

Some were pleasant surprises and some were letdowns, but they all contributed to what makes MLS “keep em’ guessing” special.

Stalwart beat writer Kevin Baxter is reporting a source has revealed the Argentine has agreed to a multi-year deal to become the LA Galaxy’s newest manager.

The story in Kvallsposten says the Loons are set to offer Swedish giants Malmo $1.2 million for the services of midfielder Fouad Bachirou, who was a standout during the club’s successful Europa League group stage campaign this fall.

Reports seem to indicate that the loan fee is between $450,000 and $500,000, likely meaning that Targeted Allocation Money is being used to acquire the 21-year-old Argentine.
