When the opening whistle blows for Union vs. Houston Dynamo, goalkeeper Andre Blake will have started his 50th career game.
The Union drafted Blake first overall in the 2014 MLS SuperDraft. Fittingly enough, Blake's first career start came against Houston that season, unfortunately a 2-0 loss. He would have to wait more than a year until his next start, but in his first start of 2015, Blake earned his first win and his first shutout, a 1-0 victory against Montreal. In 2015, he started six games, earning two wins and two shutouts, while drawing one and losing three.
