Andre Blake once again stole the spotlight as he led the Jamaican National Team to a 2-1 victory against Canada to advance to the semifinals in the Gold Cup.
Blake served as captain once again for the Reggae Boyz and lived up to the title. He made four saves in the match, and there was none bigger than his stop in the 71st minute.
With Jamaica leading 2-1 in the match, Canada started pressing and putting pressure on the Jamaican defense. Canada's David Junior Hoilett took a long range shot, trying to pick the upper 90. Blake took a couple steps and then went full extension, getting his hand on the ball and pushing it away for one of the best saves of the tournament.
