Andre Blake turned heads last season in his first full season as the Union's starting goalkeeper. He set career marks in nearly every statistical category, and was named 2016 MLS Goalkeeper of the Year. In 2017, he's playing just as well, if not better.
The best example of his season is Blake's four-game shutout streak, which set a new longest stretch for the Union. He had the second longest scoreless minutes streak, falling just more than 30 minutes of the record. Just 14 matches into the season, he already has five shutouts, just one shy of his single-season career high, set last year.
