Bethlehem Steel FC announced Tuesday it has acquired defender Ryan Richter from Ottawa Fury FC via a full transfer. Per club and league policy, additional terms of the deal were undisclosed.
“We’re very excited to be able to land a player of Ryan’s caliber to boost our expansion club,” Union Sporting Director Earnie Stewart said. “Not only do we think highly of his skill set, but we believe in all of the professional intangibles Ryan will bring on a daily basis.”
Richter, 26, was drafted by the Philadelphia Union with the No. 5 overall pick in the 2011 Supplement Draft.
