Bedoya and USMNT face Honduras in key Hexagonal match Friday night

The US Men’s National Team will play in one of the most important World Cup qualifying games in recent history. The USMNT will host Honduras at Avaya Stadium in San Jose Friday night, with kickoff at 10:30 p.m. ET.

The USMNT head into the match currently in sixth place, dropping a 2-1 home match against Mexico before being throttled 4-0 at Costa Rica. Since the Costa Rica game, Jurgen Klinsmann has been replaced with Bruce Arena as the USMNT’s head coach. Meanwhile, Honduras sits in fourth place, losing to Panama 1-0 but defeated Trinidad and Tobago 3-1. If the US can defeat Honduras, they will move into fourth place, but lose, and the team will firmly be in sixth place and need a historic run to qualify for Russia and the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
